Here's a nice delivery rig that we just finished up! The body is a 16ft Morgan Gold Star Reefer aluminum insulated van body The van body is paired with a Thermo-King Model T-680R-50 Refrigerator/Freezer unit. This unit has a 230V Electric Standby so the customer can keep things cool at the dock without running the engine. This body has a stainless steel rear frame. Over the course of 15-20yrs, most users will repaint the rear frame of their truck at least once. The cost to repaint the rear frame once is about the cost difference between stainless steel and paint steel. So if you are planning on running a rig for a while and want it to look nice, stainless rear frames seem like a no brainer! The customer needed a liftgate with large platform and capacity to lift heavy loads of ravioli. We pair them with a Palfinger Model ILT-35 with a 3500lb lift capacity. This tuck-away liftgate allows the customer to load at locations with a dock and delivery to places were ground unloading is necessary. Please leave a comment!

I never knew there were parts that could keep things in the back cool even when the engine isn't on. My son is starting a new company soon and is worried that his product will melt in the back if he ever has to stop and turn the car off. I will certainly share this information with him as he makes a plan to transport his product safely.

Thanks for helping me understand that refrigerated trailers would be of a steel frame that can last for 15 to 20 years. I guess it would be best to buy this kind of equipment from trusted sources or companies to ensure that the quality is good. It's important that they are of good quality to ensure that the perishable goods will not be damaged or spoiled after long hours or even days of transport.

Thank you for mentioning that most users will repaint their truck's back frame at least once throughout the duration of the refrigerator trailer's 15-20-year lifespan. My spouse is the owner of a company that produces food. By delivering frozen meals to his customers, he hopes to grow his business. To ensure that the trailers survive longer, I will advise him to get refrigerated trailers with steel frames.

Usually I never comment on blogs but your article is so convincing that I never stop myself to say something about it. Really helpful.
