Here are some pictures from a several months back that never got on the blog. These flatbeds are both Hillsboro steel flatbeds and both mounted on dual wheel trucks. This Hillsboro bed is the G2 style . The bed has built in rear hitch lights and goose neck ball hitch. Here's a view of one of the front boxes. These front boxes have tapered corners to match the tapered corners on the front of the bed. This gives a finished look to overall flatbed. A view of the gooseneck ball hitches in the beds. These hitches are built and welded into the frame of the bed. The design creates a very sturdy and safe hitch location! Thanks for checking out the post!

I like the tip you gave that the frame of your truck bed would have welding gooseneck ball hitches for efficient use. I have a cousin looking for a truck body service that can do a gooseneck service body for his truck because his work requires having a lot of equipment on board. You did a great job of explaining the difference. I'll tell him that consulting a gooseneck truck body service can help provide information about the custom job.
