Here is an up-fit that we finished up recently. We paint matched, mounted, and up-fitted this Reading Master Mechanics body on a Ram 5500 Diesel. The job really turned out nice! Here is a view of the passenger side showing the open compartment space. The front compartments are vented to accommodate for gas bottle storage. Here is a view of the rear of the truck and the work bench bumper. All the horizontal surfaces and entire cargo area are spray-lined for added durability. The driver's side has 3 drawer units mounted in 3 compartments. These heavy duty, built in modules have 300lbs slides per drawer and very handy in storing tools and supplies. Here are couple closeups of the 4 corner LED work light system which run to a switch in the cab and the rear bumper which has storage space inside. Thanks again for checking out the post!

Here's a little different looking setup that we finished up recently. The truck is a Chevy LCF 4500 and we installed a flatbed, hoist, and rear hitch. The bed has an electric/hydraulic hoist. The steel bed also has a wood floor which can help prevent loads from shifting around during transit. Here is a view of the rear end with the hitch and lights. Thanks for looking!
We finished up this 9ft AirFlow stainless steel dump bed a couple months ago. It really turned out sharp. The bed has a double acting rear tailgate and fold down sides. We also welded in a rear hitch and installed a 4 corner LED flasher system. Here is a view of the side showing the drop down side opened up. There are 4 LED flashers, one in each corner. Here is a view of the driver's side rear LED flasher mounted in the rear corner post of the dump body. There are a few options for cab protectors. The cab protector on this truck is what is called the 1/4 cab protector and it is the smallest cab protector available. Here are a few more pictures of the rear of the dump bed. Thanks for checking out the post!
Here is a job we finished up recently. This customer is going to mount some of his large water tanks on the body. The truck really turned out well! This flat bed is custom built with a low profile bulk head. We installed mud flaps on both sides of the rear wheels to cut down on the mud build up. Above the cab we installed a Federal Signal LED Flasher full cab width. This flasher provides many flash patterns and can act as an arrow stick. We fabricated and reinforced into the frame, a 50 ton rear pintle hitch on the back of the chassis. The trailer air brakes and wiring plugs are neatly tucked up underneath the bed above the hitch. Thanks for checking on the post!
Here is a truck we finished up a couple months back. We fabricated, painted, and installed a steel ladder rack, rack straps, and Weather Guard saddle box/side boxes. The red ladder rack is matched to the customer's vinyl lettering which gives the overall unit a nice finished look. Thanks for checking out the post!
Here are some pictures from a several months back that never got on the blog. These flatbeds are both Hillsboro steel flatbeds and both mounted on dual wheel trucks. This Hillsboro bed is the G2 style . The bed has built in rear hitch lights and goose neck ball hitch. Here's a view of one of the front boxes. These front boxes have tapered corners to match the tapered corners on the front of the bed. This gives a finished look to overall flatbed. A view of the gooseneck ball hitches in the beds. These hitches are built and welded into the frame of the bed. The design creates a very sturdy and safe hitch location! Thanks for checking out the post!
Here is a job we finished up early fall. This is a landscape and lawn maintenance van body named the Morgan ProScape. The rear door duals as a heavy duty aluminum ramp. A view of the side with a drop down step and an wood clad aluminum door. This body also has vents in the front and rear sides to provide air flow while hauling gas cans. The inside of this van body has a hardwood floor, hard wood scuff 10in high, ply wood lining, and 3 rows of hard wood slats to provide locations to tie off equipment. A rear view of the bi-fold ramp open and closed. This ramp uses a counter balance similar to roll-up door to offset the wait of the ramp and makes storing the ramp a breeze. The fiberglass roof is translucent which provides great lighting throughout the day and there are LED lights on the ceiling to give visibility when the days get long. The cab over design on this truck provides a shorter wheel base which gives an advantage out in the field and customers drive ways, making turning and backing easier. Thanks for looking and feel free to contact us about any van body needs you have!
Here is a shelving package we just installed in a Ram Promaster Van. The package includes a bulk head, 2 shelves, and a parts keeper organizer storage cabinet. Here is a view of the bulk and the parts keeper organizer storage cabinet. The bulk head is made from galvanized steel and has a walk through door. The parts keeper organizer storage cabinet has 8 carrying cases that store securely and can quickly be pulled and carried into the job. Here are some views of the carrying cases. Within each case are individual boxes that fit tightly together but can be moved around so the boxes can be setup just how the technician Here are views of the 2 shelves. The drivers side has a longer shelf to utilize the entire side of the van and the passenger side shelf fills the entire wall of the van too. Here is another view of the rear of the van. Thanks for checking out the post! We do offer Ranger Van equipment online which can ship directly to your shop or house if you prefer to do the installation.
Here is a Ram chassis that we just installed a 9ft Hillsboro flatbed on. The rounded design of this bed pairs really nice with the truck's curves and makes it looks like it belongs. A view of the side/rear. We mounted flaps on both sides of the rear wheels to stop debris. All the lights on this bed are LED. They really stand out at dusk/night and also give some added visibility when stopping. The top bulk head is also notched out to allow the Ram factory high mount stop light to be visible. Chamfered corners are an option to give the back a more rounded rear. Besides giving the bed a little more "curb appeal" the chamfered corners also give a little more clearance when turning with a goose-neck trailer connected. This view in the rear shows the backup camera we installed between the licence plate and the center rear light cluster. The camera sits below and behind the aluminum rail extrusion and behind the aluminum diamond plate. This gives the camera some added protection. Thanks again for looking! We have quite a few in-stock of flatbeds ready to go or be installed. Feel free to give us a call!
Here is an enclosed service body we just finished on a Ford F350. This enclosed body provides lots of interior storage and is ideal for an operator or mechanic that needs extra dry, lockable space for storing equipment and parts! We installed 1/8" aluminum diamond plate on the front of the body as rock chip protection. It is amazing how chipped this portion of the body will become overtime without these "chip guards." Here is a view of the spray-lined interior of the body. The liner adds durability to the areas were the majority of the wear with take place. Above the side packs are were the interior storage shelves are located. These shelves as well as the entire body is powder coated inside and out. The customer wanted spray-liner on the horizontal doors. He uses these doors much like a work bench at times and wanted them to have some coverage from scuffs and scratches. Here a view of the pooched bumper complete with a custom vise mount, hitch, and 7-way trailer socket. As always, thanks for looking and feel free to call us about how we can help you with your next up-fitting project!
