Here is a neat job we recently finished up! We installed an Airflo stainless steel dump bed on a Chevy 5500 Chassis. Offering drop down sides and both upper and lower disconnects of the tailgate, the Airflo dump bed is easily accessible from all sides. This 2.5" receiver hitch has a capacity up to 20,000 lbs making it a more versatile option. This single cylinder, scissor lift dump bed is a great option for the worksite!

Here is a job we recently finished. This bed is a Zimmerman 14' dumpbed with fold down sides. The bed has an integrated rear end with lights, step, and hitch plate. The up-fit is mounted on a 2020 Chevy Silverado 6500 HD. One neat feature of Zimmerman dump beds is the built in tarp. Every Zimmerman dump bed comes with this style tarp as standard. The manual return crank is conveniently located at arm height. This crank location is unlike any other on the market and is definitely a welcomed addition! Here is a view of the dual drop down sides. The sides split in the middle allowing for all or part of the side to be open. Since each side section is independent the weight to fold them is also very manageable. The rear end of the bed has well designed looks and function. The built in LED lights give plenty of visibility and the rear step above the hitch is a nice touch for overall usability. The 7-way trailer socket is conveniently located just above the rear step. We also installed a 36"W x 18"D x 18"H x 1/8" thick aluminum diamond plate underbody box on the passenger side for storage. We finished up this 9ft AirFlow stainless steel dump bed a couple months ago. It really turned out sharp. The bed has a double acting rear tailgate and fold down sides. We also welded in a rear hitch and installed a 4 corner LED flasher system. Here is a view of the side showing the drop down side opened up. There are 4 LED flashers, one in each corner. Here is a view of the driver's side rear LED flasher mounted in the rear corner post of the dump body. There are a few options for cab protectors. The cab protector on this truck is what is called the 1/4 cab protector and it is the smallest cab protector available. Here are a few more pictures of the rear of the dump bed. Here is a job that just left today. It's an 11ft dump bed with a PTO drive hydraulic pump, drop down sides, double acting rear gate, underbody box, and chain basket. The truck really turned out great! Driver's side profile view of the truck and body. The customer needed storage for items that needed to be out of the weather and he wanted a place to hang chains with ease of access. We paired them up with an underbody box on the driver's side and a chain basket on the passenger side. The underbody box is lockable and weather resistant and the the chain basket provides ease of access and no pooling of water for chains. Here is a view of the rear skirt, LED stop/tail/turn/backup lights, and 7-way socket. The customer is going to be pulling some large loads so we reinforce this hitch to handle their needs. To operate the PTO the engine is started and the Chevy factory PTO button in the center of the dash, shown in the first picture, is pressed. When the button is pressed the engine will automatically idle up and the light on the console shown in the second picture will activate. The bed is then raised or lowered with the up/down toggle button in the third picture. Thanks again for checking out the post! Feel free to give us a call about your truck idea!
We just finished up 3 landscaper bodies for the team at Wild Ridge Landscapes! These bodies are tall sided dump bodies with double swing doors at the rear and a single swing door on the passenger side front. The bodies have 1/4 cab protectors designed to accommodate a manual or automatic tarp system. Built for long term use, the floor of the body is build with 10GA hot rolled steel with 16" cross members and the sides are 12GA hot rolled steel. Here is a veiw of the double swing doors in the rear and the hitch. We created a rear hitch setup that is designed for 18,000lbs of towing capacity and also incorporates a backup camera. The rear swing doors are latched shut with cam lock style door action for security. A large side door on these bodies is designed to accommodate a pallet so if landscapers are laying pavers or bricks or even planting trees they have plenty of room to work and lots of access. All the doors on the body latch open in case the user needs to travel with the doors open. Thanks again for checking out the post! Tis the season to plow so we thought we would show another plow truck we finished up recently. Here are a few pictures of the dump bed. This truck has a 9ft Air Flow dump bed with an electric over hydraulic power unit. Electric over hydraulic power units and hoists are becoming increasingly popular on this size of truck. Popularity stems from reliability, minimal maintenance requirements, small size of the unit, ease of service, and relativity low cost. The plow is a Boss 9'2" wide poly "V" plow. This is a great plow to move alot of snow! Thanks for checking out the post!
Here's a unique job that we finished a week or so ago! The customer wanted a hoist installed on his military style truck. We haven't installed many hoists on military trucks so this was a fun truck to work on! Here are a few closeups of the attachment points for the hinge and the hoist. We also utilized an apitong wood shim which the bed locates on in down position. This truck has a 24 volt electrical system which we utilized for a electric/hydraulic hoist power unit. Drop a comment. Thanks for checking us out!
