This is a custom job we did recently on a Reading Classic II body. It has some unique features such as a Vanair Underdeck system and some custom RC boxes. Other additional accessories were also added to complete the truck. The customer does airport runway lighting and needed this custom setup for full service and versatility on the jobsite. 

Above are photos of the Vanair Underdeck system. The apparatus is composed of a compressor and generator, and all the controls are located in one of the service body compartments. The compressor goes up to 160 CFM and the generator has an output of 6.6 KW. Power is provided to the system hydraulically via the PTO. 

Custom RC basket boxes were designed for additional storage. We spaced them up for installation to keep water from sitting between the side pack and the basket. RC makes custom boxes to fit the needs of each customer as well as multiple different variations of standard boxes which can be found here. 

Shown in the top two photos is the strobe lightbar and its controller. Compartment lighting is a nice feature that makes finding that missing tool a little bit easier. 

The air supply from the Underdeck system runs conveniently to a small hatch in the rear of the truck. This hatch keeps the air fittings in pristine condition rather than letting them rust or corrode out in the weather. As you can see in the top right, there is a Reelcraft retractable air hose reel tucked away in the compartment providing just the right length of hose when needed. Additionally, there is a Reelcraft fuel hose mounted on top of the side pack tied to a Weatherguard fuel tank. This makes for easy refueling when on the jobsite.

For protection, we added diamond plate chip guards to keep the truck from getting scratched up. The entire bed of the service body, bumper, and custom basket boxes were spray lined as a durable protective coating. 

A Xantrex power intverter was placed in the passenger side horizontal compartment for a quick plug in. This makes charging your tools as easy as ever and keeps your battery from getting to low with an automatic low voltage shut off. 

Finally, a look at all of the combined storage available on the service body. Tested for road vibration, and equipped with a worthy reputation, a C-tech drawer unit was added for more consolidated and organized storage.

Here is a neat project that one of our customers outfitted! They utilized RC stainless steel toolboxes that we supplied. These boxes were custom designed specific for the customer. You can view some of the standard RC boxes on our website here, or feel free to give us a call to get a quote!

The boxes were installed on a raised fixture to avoid corrosion. There is a mirror finish stainless both on the boxes as well as other features on the truck. This provides a superior finish compared to other trucks on the road.

Here is neat job we recently finished up. This customer has a company that runs underground cable and needed this unique HydraBed on his truck.  

This set up has a control arm that lifts heavy reels of wire up and down, and feeds the wire into the ground, from the control box. RC toolboxes were added for durable storage. 

The bed has an integrated 20,000 lb hitch. All the hydraulics are run off a central hydraulic PTO system. 

LED strobe lights were added to keep a safe work environment.

These trucks were upfitted to accomodate on-site service needs while out on the road, and include an air compressor setup, toolboxes, liftgate, and lighting.  

Mounted in a PAFCO fabricated cage, this Vanair air compressor is plumbed to a air filter/ regulator/ lubricator hidden inside the toolbox and hooked up to a ReelCraft hose reel for efficiency. 

This Tommy Gate G2 Liftgate is a simple but efficient design making it a useful addition to the truck. 

Work lighting and strobes increase safety and make a well lit work environment.

Here is a job we did for a water waste company where the customer requested some custom fabrication and mounting with his new van body. We installed two C-Tech drawer units, E-track, and diamond plated doors and flooring to allow for a safe and easy cleaning process. 

A closer look at the drawer units and shelving. Each one of these C-Tech units is capable of handling up to 250 lbs per drawer. The ball bearing slides on these drawers are designed and tested to withstand severe vibration which makes them the perfect fit for an on-road application. 

LED light strips for added brightness. These are mounted on every roof bow, and wired to a conveniently located switch near the rear door. 

Custom tread plate flooring and doors with fabricated floor pockets for the customer's utilization. These were designed to perfectly nest his boxes and crates.

Here's a job we just finished for Watchfire. Watchfire builds and sells LED signs. These signs can range from fairly small to larger than bill boards and sides of buildings. Watchfire needed some demo trucks that could house some of their signs to transport them to customer locations. These demo trucks will be used to give examples of what a sign would look like on a new location. Check out their website below!

The signs will occupy the entire door opening on both sides of the van body. 

Here is a view from the inside. The customer already had a generator for the signs so we wired in the doors straight to the generator.
